Projects

We have designed and constructed a number of supermarkets, office complexes, accommodation units, hydropower plants and dams, water projects, and airports in the Central, Eastern & Western Highlands, East New Britan, Oro, and Simbu Provinces. We are now expanding our growth into some of the most remote locations in Papua New Guinea.

The construction industry in PNG has its challenges, civil engineering, and the building construction industry is a high-cost capital-intensive activity. AGI has navigated these terrains before and has had a lot of experience, we will continue to work alongside the PNG government, our industry partners, and financiers to build the nation.

The following are some of our key projects:

Mt. Hagen International Airport

Kagamuga, Western Highlands Province - 2015

In partnership with NAC through CADIP

The old airport was in dire need of an upgrade, we were happy to be tasked with this challenging but exciting project. The design of the newly constructed terminal is inspired by the Mt. Hagen axe. The exteriors are shaped like the axe and decorated in traditional patterns. We switched it up with energy-efficient skylights and LED lights as eco-friendly systems and its own sewage treatment system.
